The importance of “Free Expression”
Butler and his guests create thought-provoking and reasoned discussions in a media currently overwhelmed but superficiality. The interviews with Douglas Murray and Ayaan Hirsi Ali are standouts but the most surprising was with a person I had never heard of Wesley Yang. He may be well known in the US but perhaps less so in the UK. Yang’s description of intersectionality and its evolution was by far the best I have ever heard and I think that Yang is a future star. The best part of Butler’s podcasts is that he moves it all along very quickly and tries to keep it close to 30 minutes. Other podcasts that I enjoy can take 15 minutes with introductions and waffle before getting to the point, not Butler. I think that it would be reasonable, even in this over-hyped era, to suggest that Free Expression is important.

All star guests skillfully interviewed in their areas of expertise. These are must hear interviews, if you are interested in timely global issues.
