Impedance Spectra of Capacitors
Listen now
Description
Impedance and capacitance spectra (or scattering parameters) are common representations of frequency dependent electrical properties of capacitors. The interpretation of all these spectra provides a wide range of electrochemical, physical and technical information. Because not all possible data is located in the data sheet, you may have to utilize measured spectra to choose the suitable component for your circuit design. In this podcast, we'll be recapping the properties of the spectra and discuss how basic electrical characteristics can be inferred from it.
