“I’m honestly just really disappointed in this podcast. I wanted to like it, but after listening to just their most recent episode, on roleplay, I was immediately turned off. While they purport themselves to be an educational podcast on all things BDSM, what immediately turned me off was one speaker’s constant shaming of monogamy. While I am polyamorous myself, and I wholeheartedly agree that the vast majority of folks who live a monogamous lifestyle do so for the wrong reasons (societal expectations, religious beliefs, jealousy, etc), monogamy itself is not wrong. Yes, most people don’t actively CHOOSE monogamy because they think that’s the right relationship structure for them, the concept in and of itself is not WRONG. We as polyamorous people, and we as kinksters have been shamed for our lifestyle choices for eons. For that very reason, we as a community need to help promote acceptance, not promote shame and judgment. I don’t know what the girl’s name is, but she acts extremely immature and I don’t like the shame that she promotes. Won’t be listening to this podcast again.”
