The success stories of the trade corridors.  Barbara Mommen has worked extensively in both the public and private sectors in various capacities over the past 30 years. Since 2006 she has worked in trade, transport, and development, with five years as COO and then eight as CEO of the Maputo Corridor Logistics Initiative, a corridor management institution for the trade and transport corridor for Mozambique, Eswatini and South Africa. She is a trade and transport corridor specialist focusing on regional integration and regional economic development issues and enabling the critical link between policy and implementation. She has extensive experience in process facilitation and stakeholder engagement and is passionate about collaboration across the public and private sectors to see Africa's economic potential realised.
