Have Patience
I have intentionally waited to leave a review for this podcast until this late into its run, so I could have a well rounded opinion. I’m not gonna lie, the first season is a little rough, but that’s to be expected— the first book is for kids and they were just diving in head first. Skip past the cheesy parts in season 1 and you’ll make it through. After that, things get WAY better. The chapter by chapter recaps are great for people who haven’t read the books ever or in a long time, and the segments after chapter recaps become incredibly interesting. I also love when someone points out a plot hole or discrepancy that I hadn’t noticed before (even though it is inevitably solved by “magic”). Really fun to listen to and a wonderful break from reality. Just a bunch of Harry Potter nerds talking about nerdy things— I couldn’t ask for anything better. Keep up the great work!

I had to apologize to all my Hufflepuff family and co-workers after that. I love it that these nerds, I mean brilliant wizards, are...Read full review »
