great gentle yoga
Arthritis in my knee kept me off the yoga mat for way too long. I have worked for Yoga Journal and with the Green Yoga Association, which has provided me with the opportunity to study with the best teachers in America. After months of inaction due to debilitating pain, I resolved to find a simple online yoga practice to ease me back in. Logging onto iTunes, I quickly found the latest episode of Yogamazing... which was a practice for (you guessed it) people with arthritis. Right place. Right time. Right Action. Chaz shows a great depth of understanding and gently leads a basic practice that is perfect for beginners (as well as achy, tight and weak yogis like me). There could have been a bit more explanation of how arthritis might change a yoga practice, or some details of the anatomy with arthritis, but in a short podcast, such omission is understandable. I have since practiced with other episodes, and they all seem to provide a great entry (or re-entry) to the world of yoga.

I'm a complete beginner and find these programmes really useful and fun to do. Worth checking out.

I like the bite-sized segments. Good for beginners but also for experienced practitioners. I use it to complement longer routines, for days when I don't have time to do a full session. Worth it!

His video podcasts are great on our Apple TV, and make it really simple to do Yoga at home. Thanks Chaz.
