Personal Accountability & Responsibility
Listen now
Description
In this episode, we look into how living with BPD or mental illnesses affect how we are in the world and how we relate to others. Chronic mental illness changes everything about your being... how you see the world, and how you see yourself so it's important to talk about in order to continue to hold ourselves accountable to others and responsible for our actions. In my opinion, self reflection is one of the most important parts of being able to learn from our past, how it relates to in our present, and how we can be better in the future. If we hold ourselves accountable for our actions after they have happened, we learn how to trust that we will not cause ourselves or others pain. When we learn how to be responsible before things happen, then we can gain greater agency in our lives and our emotions. As always, reach out on my Instagram @journey.bound if you have any comments, questions, or suggestions for later episodes. Thank you for being you.
