August, the creator of the game, returns to finish the story of Marnie, a young girl living by herself in the suburbs, and Gelu, an icy horror living in another dimension. After Marnie meets Gelu through the form of a murder of ice-beaked crows and the form of Dr. Tennyson, Marnie's family doctor, Marnie is taking a day at home to rest and figure out what is going on.
