But enough about you
I love Pete’s arenas and the conversations he instigates and I think he’s whip smart w recall and references but it is sometime brutal to hear him completely miss a tone or vibe of a guest because he was too busy thinking of a cute pun. If the guest and him click, and you’ll notice within 3 minutes then it’ll be a GREAT episode (Gary Gulman) but if they don’t (Rainn Wilson) it’s just insanely rough. I feel like maybe Pete should be more able to sense the guest is just a dud and stick to more of a proper interview. Honestly some of these non comics/TV actors are just c***ts and it’s a swing and a miss. Listen to guests you like or know are real comics.

More reviews of You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes
Great podcast. Love that Pete Holmes has got his own podcast. Listened to the majority of the others he was on as a guest. Great comedian who looks to have awesome guests. The first two episodes were great. Keep bringing the funny.

The episode with TJ Miller is one of the best podcasts I've heard, and Moshe's episode was awsome-tastic. Both get into morality and ethics and hearing about Moshe's exploits was fascinating.Read full review »

A great show, the affection between Pete and his guests makes for a different kind of interview then can be found on similar podcasts. A great addition to Chris Hardwick's Nerdist empire.Read full review »
