A Great Conversation
I watched the first episode and then listened to it a second time. Wow! Not since my undergrad days at St. John’s in Annapolis did I feel as connected to our Western inheritance. I wish Spencer would not only do this survey podcast, but also a complete course on Homer. Thirty minutes with him on Homer was magic, but barely scratched the surface of what we can learn from him on the poems.
