“The Prayer for Religious Freedom episode misses the point that the Founding Fathers LITERALLY created the First Amendment and it states that everyone in the USA has the right to practice his or her religion, or not to practice a religion at all.
While it is true the nation was found on Christian beliefs (except the whole slavery part) As Christian believers, we can’t retroactively decide that the Founding Fathers intended the First Amendment to be something it is not.”
