You can register at http://bit.ly/Review2019Plan2020 to join me for the live training and discussion calls, the thought-provoking workbooks and the Q&A’s and prompts in the Next Chapter Facebook Community. Show Notes I'm a big believer in double planning - I really recommend that you take some time this side of Christmas to have a look back through your year and evaluate your results and then put some thought into what you want to create. Then put that aside, give yourself some breathing space and then come back for a review in early to mid-January. You’ll likely be surprised by the changes you then feel you want to make. Single session planning doesn’t allow this essential breathing space   Please realise that when you review your year, the probability is that it will not look like you intended it to look at the beginning of the year. And that’s both ok and totally normal! I like to think of planning as providing light parameters, guidance for the year. Combine these intentions with wearing “glass blinkers” – these mean you’re focused, but you're also open to other possibilities. If you keep your vision front of mind and yet hold expectations of how you will get there lightly, you’ll have the expansive thinking that allows you to discern the differences between distractions and opportunities So I mean, just some examples. I had some big lofty goals. This year, I was going to write my book, I haven't finished writing my book I've started. I've certainly got some runs on the board, but it's still a long way to go. And initially, that felt a bit disappointing. But you need to look back with the benefit of what I call kind site. And when I look at my year, always being a bit ambitious to also fit in the book writing and so I've need to do some some changes and machinations to see when it can actually happen. Now, I also wanted to take the podcast live as a next chapter conversations, bring women together, where I'm interviewing on stage and we're having discussions and exercises as a result of what you've heard. Yeah, I got really excited I bought the domain name. I had all the ideas happening in my head. It didn't happen, because it was unrealistic. When I looked back at what it is that I wanted to achieve this year, there was no space to start this as well. Now I have rent sell on dinners, which have been one of my favorite things of the whole year. That's when I get a small group of women together. over dinner will we have this really wholehearted conversation about next chapters in our businesses in our lives, as well as books, personal and business development books, and I've been running those in Sydney and in Melbourne and in Canberra, and they have been an absolute delight. So I didn't expect them to be as enjoyable as they have been this year. They're just being gorgeous. So I can use a little bit of self compassion on myself and say, Hey, you didn't start the conversations in the Live podcast, but you did do the salon dinners, and I reckon that was just as good. I also had this intention of running mastermind training this year. masterminds business masterminds are at the absolute heart of my business. You're I get so much out of being In a mastermind, myself, and I absolutely adore facilitating these 10 months journeys that women in business have when they're working with me at several different levels. So I thought, Well, you know what masterminds have such a great impact on
