American academic, Christine Feldman-Barrett joins us this week to discuss her personal Beatles and her new book, A Women's History of the Beatles. Christine is a senior lecturer at Griffiths University in Queensland, Australia, and chats to Jack and Robin about the how her love of the Beatles and her connections to Hamberg and the epicentre of grunge, informed her musical passions and academic work on youth culture history. Includes fascinating chats about reassessing the depiction of women in Beatles history, the media's relationship with the 'Beatle Wives', and the integral and overlooked role that women played in the fab four phenomenon and beyond.
