Outstanding
It might be premature to review a podcast after only one episode but I love this series already. I listened to Episode 1 yesterday and it’s already led me Andrew Male’s hilarious demolition of Eric Clapton’s bookshelf, and into the wonderful world of sampler albums, which in turn enabled me to discover the amazing life and work of Tim Rose (and who knew that The Big 3’s “The Banjo Song” was ripped off to become Shocking Blue’s “Venus”?!) and in turn the glorious voice of Bonnie Dobson. If that’s how much I’ve learned from one episode, the rest of the series is bound to blow my mind. Well done team!

I found this podcast through The Word Podcast. This is right up my street, knowledgeable people discussing obscure but great albums. Keep up the brilliant work.

Really enjoying these - music journalist Jim Irvin and two guests pick 3 overlooked/underappreciated albums, discuss their great moments and interesting histories. Thoughtful discussions, eclectic choices - it’s a well made podcast. Recommended.
