I really appreciate this podcast, I love the variety of relevant topics and their scientific approach. I especially appreciate that they don’t assume that women are the same as men medically. I cheer each time Jonathan asks a guest about how women’s response to a variable might be different from...Read full review »

The quality of the research feels varied and the authority of the speakers as well. Take the last two speakers. One on the body clock of muscles and strength asserted that as there are greater strength performance stats later in the day, that’s when you should exercise. Er? Why is it better...Read full review »

Host talks too much! Simplify questions. Allow your guest/expert to talk.

Great content but the host constantly talks over and interrupts the experts which is so annoying
Sdel12 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/14/24
This show has really interesting content … but the show host (Jonathon) is such a windbag and talks over the top of the experts. Seriously Jonathon, less you and more of the experts would make this show much better.

Hi Jonathan, I really enjoy your podcast, but I've noticed that sometimes there are interruptions during the guest's speech. It might improve the overall flow and clarity if you could minimize those interruptions. I do want to know what the guests have to say after all they are the...Read full review »

So, I find this conflicting from other podcasts you have aired. Is fasting for women healthy or unhealthy? How can we trust information if it’s constantly changing?

I absolutely love these podcasts and listen avidly on the way to and from work! IMHO they are a perfect length as many of the topics are very complex. Also, I am surprised at some of the review comments regarding the interruption of the speakers. I am not a scientist so I welcome the host’s...Read full review »

The expert guests are really interesting to listen to but the host can’t stop talking over them and paraphrasing. Very annoying. Unfollowing.
C BBB333 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/10/24
Interesting subjects and discussions are worthwhile. But the host’s comments, and shilling for zoe, are very disruptive, at the expense of guest input continuity. It’s a trade off, but would love less smarmy interruptions of guests, and especially host!

On a first listen to the Zoe podcast and specifically the one on Dementia the host’s constant interruptions/paraphrasing/personal anecdotes and analogie has put me off continuing with it. Please can we just be allowed to listen to the medical/scientific expert with minimal interruptions.
Gregsort via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 04/07/24
Jonathan, stop interrupting and stop with the long paraphrases! If you did that this would be a five-star program. Your experts are brilliant… Let. Them. Speak!

The info this podcast offers is so useful but the episodes are far too long. They should all be the bitesize 12” or 13” length. Over an hour is too much to digest.

Rare case of a podcast that is a great listen that never tires, but is also packed with valuable info.

Informative podcast on a variety of health issues. Enjoy many aspects of this podcast but the host consistently talks over and interrupts the guests that are there to inform the listener. Please stop cutting off the subject matter expert, it really takes away from an otherwise good podcast.

It’s a great show, I just wish Jonathan would not talk across the experts so much. It’s starting to grate a bit.

I loved to learn more about muscles and exercise. Very easy to understand and applicable to all age groups and lifestyles. I love learning new things to improve my health.

Great info - but Jonathan Wolf’s voice grates from n me

I have seen many comments regarding the host and that he repeats what the expert has just said in basic terms, I am pleased he does this as I sometimes don’t understand the expert but then have a lightbulb moment when he explains things.. so please carry on!

Phenomenal guests, so informative! Top notch health podcast. However, the host is a pain…he talks too much. Just let the awesome guests talk (or edit yourself out of the podcast). I’m not tuning in to listen to the host, but to the awesome guests! And it would be shorter…bonus point

Great podcast with interesting topics.

Does he ever listen to the podcast post publication? He is the most annoying moderator - he talks over guests and raises his voice if they continue to elaborate on a question. Content is first rate, Wolf should be replaced.

Interesting topics and guests but the host constantly interrupts (especially female guests) and has a snarky tone.

Great to hear medical and scientific issues discussed properly but the male host constantly interrupts whoever he is interviewing and never lets them finish a sentence. Adore this podcast and the content is brilliant. My only gripe is sometimes I feel Jonathan answers for guests instead of letting them speak. Too many interruptions. Other than this it’s fab.
JeninIreland via Apple Podcasts · Ireland · 03/29/24
Listening to your 3/28 episode re: dementia risks. Your continual interruption of your expert guest is rude and extremely off putting. I’m sure your program has some wonderful listener benefits, but I doubt I’ll find out what those are.

Zoe has really important messages and guidance to offer. I’ve followed for a while but the presenter’s style grates. Poor questioning and guidance. Hoped he’d improve over time but alas no… he’s massacred the recent Dementia episode.

Thanks so much for the extremely helpful information disseminated here. Great analogy and simplification of complex processes/information, with positive pointers to take going forward whilst also acknowledging that’s self help isn’t always easy. I learned a great deal in a short space of time.

I love this pod, it’s excellent, with really interesting topics and guests. My only gripe is the host.
