“I wasn’t even alive when this happened but I’ve seen the footage and I know the famous line by Armstrong. However this podcast made me feel as if I was there and experiencing it for the first time with all the wonder and excitement I’m sure millions had when they watched it in real time too.
What an amazing podcast with interviews from those that were there and put the men on the moon and those that walked on its ground themselves. I happen to be listening to the podcast while out in Washington DC and so a visit to the Air and Space museum was made even more special seeing all the artefacts and items used at the time.
I can’t wait to listen to Season 2 as my only knowledge of Apollo 13 is from the Ron Howard’s film with the same name when I was in my early 20’s. That was a breathtaking and emotional film for me and I believe the podcast will only go further in heightening those emotions and feelings again.
