Drama - and this was real
I remember watching the ghostly images of Neil Armstrong descending the ladder of the Lunar Module in the middle of the night UK time with my grandma. I was twelve at the time and had followed Project Apollo closely. This podcast captures the drama and intensity of those days in a way no other podcast has done to date. The podcast uses newly recorded interviews with people who went to work each day - to send people to the moon. This is oral history at its very best. Brilliant!

Pretty cool. Hope there’s more cinematic sound design in coming episodes, like in all the trailers I’ve been hearing on other BBC podcasts. This first episode was great but was mostly based on raw interviews, not so much on an immersive audio experience.
