“So pleased with this series so far. Fifty years ago I was totally taken up by the flight that I even gave my daughter a middle name of Armstrong when she was born during the voyage. I followed every minute and had even got copies of some NASA flight Manuela etc. Despite all of this 13 minutes to the moon gives the whole adventure new depth and perspectives. “I really enjoyed the first episode. I was born in 1969 and grew up in the wake of the first Mon landing. I know about the Kennedy 1962 speech, Sputnik, the 1202 alarm etc. but this episode filled in lots of gaps and especially the influence of Wernher von Braun.”
