“Hey there, as an aspiring artist currently self-learning and looking to get into the industry, I really appreciate you guys starting this podcast. I listen to it whenever I'm drawing. I love the conversational style of the podcast. The things you talk about are really inspiring and informative. I've been following Jake and Will for a while now (don't worry Lee I'll look you up too!), been listening to Will's YouTube videos when I draw, and following Jake's posts on Instagram. Jake if you see this I have your Travelers of the Five Kingdoms poster up on my wall and it's great!
I'm currently in my mid-twenties, and have been regularly bothered by the question of whether I'm too old to start, so the 2nd episode was really helpful. The good news is I recently got accepted by a concept art school in Singapore, and will be enrolling in the course next year. It's a different field that I'm going into, but I feel that there are some overlaps as well. It's going to be a long road ahead for me, and I just want to let you guys know that what you do is really helping people like me out there.
