“Wonderful idea for a podcast. I enjoyed the first episode but please Mr. Ayree drop the dreadful new habit that is spreading through the English-speaking world like wildfire... I'd like that to be "thee English-speaking world" not "thuh English speaking world." For centuries English speakers have pronounced the definite article before a vowel as "thee" to avoid having to make an ugly glottal stop. Patrick Ayree stops his glottis _systematically_ and it's SO disturbing from the mouth of a BBC presenter that I might just have to unsubscribe and crawl into a hole in thuh earth...”Read full review »
