This made my heart grow.
I don't even know where to start with 36 Questions. I've listened to all acts, maybe about 6 times now, and I'm still catching small details in the story I didn't hear before. The storyline is completely engaging, and you really get a sense of who these two characters are through the dialogue and the superb acting skills of Jessie Shelton and Jonathan Groff. Their every sigh, breath, and intonation along with the beautiful sound design, inject such subtle but expressive emotion into the story. And don't even get me started on Jessie and Jonathan's singing talents. Their voices could melt the Antarctic; Ellen Winter and Chris Littler's songs are just outstanding. Please give this a listen - even if you're not a huge musical theater fan. You will fall in love with the characters and become invested in their stories - plus there's an adorable duck that you have to meet!Read full review »

I'm not a musical person, but I LOVED this. It's so accessible and feels different from stuff on Broadway. Good music, great acting. I cried a few times. Jonathan Groff and Jessie Shelton are amazing.Read full review »
