No sign of the decline being arrested - weird foreign accents from Bunce and false laughter
How does Bunce continue to hang onto his role as frontman for this once great show? Insulting to hear him doing a Steve McClarenessque accent when interviewing foreign fighters. He rarely criticises those that need criticising. If you're after a boxing show that's going to increase your understanding of this toughest of sports, this isn't it. It's fairly parochial, only covering non-UK fights if they're massive but does a good job of covering the biggest fights involving UK fighters. Bunce knows his stuff but he's a poor presenter, repetitive questions, a habitual name-shortener, always uses 200 words where maybe 5 will do and always claims he's seeing the side of a fighter he's never seen before. The show would benefit from a better presenter.Read full review »
