Never mind the 10's, bring on the 20's ;)
I hope you appreciate this review because I hate Apple with a passion (a triumph of style over substance) and have had to get an ID because BBC Sounds has no details on how to leave feedback for you (I love the beeb but Sounds is badder than bad and so many progs have no contact details). Anyway, just like go ahead modern companies now realise their employees are actually more important than their customers. so it follows that you two are more important to the world of boxing than the boxers themelves imo. Their stars shine brightly for five, ten or even fifteen years but top journos span a generation. I heard my first fights, Clay/Ali, Liston, Frazier et al on a tiny transistor radio before I was 10 (mostly in bed under the blankets) and I don't want to sound sychophantic but I lost interest and you two have really reignited it so many years later. I've been trying to think why the pod is so good to listen to because it is more than just the subject and the knowledge you both have. It's even more than the banter and the obvious affection you have for one another. I think it just comes down to you both being comfortable in your own skin and the confidence that brings (I realise everyone has a few moments of self doubt but I mean overall). Confidence is everything in sport and I don't know how but it also seems to boost the memory. It is also gives people an attractive personality and you can tell that you two are widely respected. Look, I said I didn't want to sound like a sycophant but just want to say it as I see it ;) I know there must always be loads of political $hit going down and you two can't be all things to all men but I am sure I speak for many who now listen every week when I say thanks for all the pods so far and let's look foward to this new decade. Happy New Year Paul Liverpool Now to delete this rubbish I-tunes a/c (it wont even let me copy & paste in this box). I so wish the beeb would get it's act together and give us a good podcast/audio app.Read full review »

Love this podcast, the chemistry between Costello and Bunce and the knowledge they both have of the noble art makes for an engaging listen. For me it's the best sports podcast out there.Read full review »

Great for diehard boxing fans and also for the casual boxing fans. Typical BBC class, not scared to mix it up either.
