“Tuned it in since they bought advertising on a podcast I like, but pretty disappointed. I can overlook the intellectual laziness of their swearing as they criticize others’s intellectual arguments. However, they spout opinions that an easy review of data doesn’t support, often with a “I’m so much smarter than others” view. Some of the legal history is interesting, but you have to wade through a lot of hay to get an interesting/useful needle. Insults to entire populations as well as perty insults of individuals makes it feel like a bit of Beavis & Butthead vs a thoughtful podcast. Will try 1 or 2 editions to see if it gets better, but frankly, I find “Drunk History” on Comedy Central easier to listen to for a similar genre.”
