Linsky’s best interview is with his father. From there it is down hill. Too focussed on the ‘achievements’ of his guests before 70 and not enough on what changes (physically, emotionally, in their sexual / family relationships as they go into each decade). Death is rarely mentioned. The way their life changes is rarely mentioned. Maybe someone over 70 ( Linsky’s Dad ) should have done the interviews?

I’m loving these interviews. Max is a great listener and really knows how to draw out the wisdom of his guests. I am so moved and inspired by the warmth, resilience, and insight of those interviewed thus far. Looking forward to further episodes!
