This is needed but....
There are some really dumb questions and comments in this podcast. Like, "why did he carry a gun?" Yea, it's called the second amendment. Do you ask everyone that? It was his right. Also, if his family "isn't talking," maybe that says something. Maybe they don't trust the media, for good reason, even if it is MPR. You make it sound like they have something to hide, which they don't. They're smart and they're trying to protect the case they have in court against their loved one's murderer. That makes them smart, not shady. Respect that. And btw, Falcon Heights is a St. Paul suburb, not Minneapolis. This is a man who was murdered and should be honored, here and everywhere. If you're reporting for likes and clicks, you're perpetuating hate. Do better. We ALL know that he was killed without any justification. Perhaps a better story would be about why we as a society continually allow it to happen. Why we allow people of color to be murdered and cops get off because "they feared for their lives." Change the narrative MPR. Otherwise, you're just as much a part of the problem. (I'll be back, if I can even handle listening to the rest of this series, if I need to take my words back. I sure hope you make me regret this rating. I'll eat my words.)Read full review »

More reviews of 74 Seconds
Great job telling about the actual killing. It made the 74 seconds come alive.... Thanks for doing this important work.

I remember watching this live on Facebook, but it was still hard for me to listen to the traffic stop episode. I hope justice is served. This should have never happened.
