The top two sides in the country clashed as Shamrock Rovers welcomed defending league champions Dundalk to Tallaght stadium. Jordan Flores scored one of the best goals in the history of the league, but the home side ran out 3-2 winners. A late Jack Byrne goal sealed all three points for Shamrock Rovers while both he and head coach Stephen Bradley reacted to the result.
