"Hidden Gem"
This podcast reminds me of that fantastic little restaurant you've found in your home town that you simultaneously don't want to tell anyone about so that you can hoard it all for yourself, AND you want to tell everyone you know about what a treasure you've found! (P.S. I have shared it many times) I listen to a LOT of podasts, especially while I paint, but I anxiously WAIT for this one each week. Full of grounded, well thought inspiration and education, I am consistently challenged by his words. I always come away more committed to be honest with myself about my art and my motivations, and inpired to keep creating no matter the daily barrier. Thank you for articulating so well the jumble of thoughts that are always bouncing around my brain. I've recently purchased the book too and can't wait to dive in.Read full review »

David is an amazing, very experienced photographer and shares here his poetic yet realistic view of the creative mind, he gives his advice on how to deal with some issues for creatives, I absolutely love this podcast as everything David writes.

I needed this swift kick. I recently had a medical event, and listening to this podcast allowed to me realize I can still be creative and function accordingly. Thank you so much.

Excellent podcast with an open and honest discussion about the struggle to find your place in this complicated artistic world tainted by social media where everyone is a critic and we measure ourselves on the number of likes rather than how we feel about our creation.
