It was worth listening to
Good episode with engaging topics and a strong guest. For a debut episode, the quality was impressive. However, the audio could use a slight boost; consider increasing the gain on your microphone. One aspect that went unaddressed is the source of Jeffrey Star's conservative leanings, which stems from his anti-tax views (he moved to Wyoming cause there’s no personal income tax) given his estimated $80-200 million net worth. It may also be worthwhile to discuss how factors like race and financial privilege influence rational choices among queer individuals. These choices are often driven by existing power structures, enabling them to blend in while still benefiting from established class systems.Read full review »

Just listened to the first episode, and the conservative gaysTM have been a brain puzzle of mine for a long time. This was such a thoughtful and nuanced discussion, while also being fun and lighthearted and accessible. Can’t wait for more!
