On my last road trip, I listened thru the 3 episodes on “transitions” & enjoyed each brother’s experience, feelings & perspective. Although these brothers are my younger kids age, I found myself relating to their experiences. Of course, my perspective is different because of age &...Read full review »

I am a white woman learning just how much of a role I have played in racism. It is a super uncomfortable journey admitting the hard truth but I am willing to keep peeling the layers and learning so I can do better and be better. This is the first episode I’ve listened to but I will listen to all...Read full review »

Would love to hear an episode on critical race theory! I hear so much about it, many prominent Christian names are very against it. People are trying to get it out of schools. Would be very interested to hear an intellectual and well/balanced discussion on the issue. Talking about the actual...Read full review »

I have really enjoyed listening to you all challenge me to think further into racial tensions. I appreciate how you all bring it back to the need of the gospel is what will make the necessary changes. It really touches my heart that we all need to see what our brothers and sisters have gone...Read full review »

After hearing this podcast it encouraged me to try to read the stories not just watching the movies about black History! After listening to others episodes I’m opening my eyes though sometimes my toes are being stepped on.

Often we forget that the people we are arguing against are just that — people. This podcast helped me to remember that amidst the chaos that this conversation often incites, there are honest people putting forth honest concerns that need to be addressed. This podcast takes a stab at...Read full review »

Ten out of ten would recommend. 👏🏼 The only thing I would say to change would be microphone quality. Although, it sounds like you’re recording in separate places so it can be difficult to have perfect quality when restricted to particular methods of recording.

I appreciate y’all and the time you are putting in to this. I have really enjoyed listening to your perspectives. I love how it is not scripted, but rather you genuinely share what’s on your hearts on these important matters. Looking forward to your future productive conversations!

There are a lot of voices vying for our attention right now—a lot of them we like because they confirm what we already believe (see ep. 3); the Burden Brothers do a great job of not only sharing their opinions but also often connecting it back to Scripture. Also, they’re just really cool dudes.

I was pleasantly pleased to listen to each podcast episode. I respect and value the fact that these men each have different perspectives and viewpoints but can come to the table and discuss them in an honest, non-threatening way. On top of that, they always express a genuine desire to point...Read full review »

It’s refreshing to hear conservative Christians join the conversation on racism and racial unity, and it’s helpful to hear directly from black men. I like how they discuss the topics from their own perspectives, and give grace to each other when they come to differing conclusions. Not only is...Read full review »

These guys are giving great perspective, in-spite of differing in different areas. I was challenged to think through things like never before. Thanks Burden bros!

I’m looking forward to hearing more of the conversation. As a black man myself who can identify with your experiences, I didn’t agree with everything, but I really appreciate your heart and motivation for creating the podcast. I’m praying that the gospel will be preeminent in your conversation....Read full review »

Wow, this is a wonderful understanding from a different perspective. I know Adrian as a wonderful preacher with an emphasis on the Youth. The topic is well thought out with a heart of compassion. God help us to root this out of Christian churches across the country.

As a white person who has lived in predominantly white areas my whole life, I’m excited to learn from these conversations! It’s also a blessing that all three of these men know and love the Lord! Highly recommended!
