My goal is to be a crusty old NP who just cynically shares wisdom and opinion to everyone younger than me. I can only hope to be as crusty as Dr. Crislip. I raise a beer to you good sir. Even started my own humble podcast.

This podcast differs from others in its category because it is entertaining and the format differs significantly from other medical podcasts. Love it. Great for those of us who can’t ever stop thinking about medicine (humans are so much more disgusting than animals ;) Recently discovered this podcast and mainlining it, very enjoyable.

I highly recommend this series of podcasts; Dr. Crislip is a delight to listen to. I use his podcasts to get into a good mood to go to sleep. He throughly enjoys life, delights in the puzzles in his job, and has a wonderful wit. What he learns from each podcast is, of course, very different than...Read full review »

A terrific and informative podcast from an educator and humorist that works as a ID doc in Oregon. It is not easy to make ID diagnostics and treatment fun and entertaining. Mark Crislip is the best. My focus is also ID. Occasionally I need to give a clinical presentation and this podcast...Read full review »

(Apparently Portland, Oregon.) Both hilarious and very informative. See, young ones? This is why you wash your hands... and stay away from public pools. In fact, maybe I should just give everyone a bleach shower before they enter my house... Edit: Tempted to remove a star; our glorious narrator...Read full review »

Interested laymen, this will be comprehensible to you, too. I love his wit and snark, and agree that animals don't belong in the hospital, which has gotten me in arguments before. Then I point to the citations he provided, and we're all set. Thanks again!Read full review »

So I was doodling through the reviews and stumbled into a wet cowflop by someone calling itself fuodoc. Best guess is that fuodoc isn't. Isn't a doctor. Isn't a regular listener. Isn't even giving an honest review based on listening to Gobbet. I'm guessing that fooldoc is...Read full review »

Clearly the author of this podcast lacks emotional maturity. He has communication skills which are blunted by his juvenile political rants and foul language. Would not at all suggest this podcast for physicians in training as it solidifies the image of an arrogant, intolerant , obscene verbal bully.
