The Moshe Kasher episode made me want to convert to Judaism

Being a hospice nurse is only sad and lonely - when I am NOT working. I laugh all day with the sick and dying. Other than that - no one else likes to talk about it. I have spent 32 years doing one thing ?and a expert on the field) and have spent my whole career with people that are dying or...Read full review »

These are important conversations to have with one other. Sharing our stories and our grief brings light into our lives! Thank you, Michael, for bringing this out in us!

The opposite of most interviews, he gets right into a guests soul and together they delve into your soul. Very healing if you’ve experienced anything difficult (we all have at this point!)

I am a HEAVY podcast listener across many genres, and this is actually the first time I’ve ever left a review. This podcast is so beautiful and loving and discusses a topic without dipping into tropes or pontification (which it easily could do). My favorite characteristic in a person is someone...Read full review »

I just discovered this podcast and like any new podcast I find, the instinct is to binge all the episodes. It’s hard to do that here but taking slow bites is what I seem to be doing. There’s something so freeing in hearing and being present in someone else’s grief. As a person who has lost a lot,...Read full review »

I just discovered this podcast a few weeks ago and I’ve been listening to a couple of episodes each day. As the episodes progress the dives get deeper and the work is heavier but also much more incisive and insightful. If we think of the death of a loved one like an injury to the body, those...Read full review »

This podcast has been such a gift. I really appreciate how Michael Cruz Kayne explores many avenues of grief. Each episode has offered comfort and understanding and I walk away feeling better. I have recommended this to several people and always begin the description with how gentle, kind, and...Read full review »

I look forward to this Podcast every week. I’m a culture that doesn’t confront grief, I find the conversations provide very helpful in navigating both my own grief and the grief that others experience as well. Michael Cruz Kane is an excellent host and has really interesting guests.

A Good Cry touches your heart, helps you to feel a little less alone, and makes you laugh out loud as people navigate the unforgiving route of trauma and grief. A perfect, healing balance!

This podcast makes me realize it’s ok to laugh through my heartache, and truly is a reflection of its incredible, kind, brilliant creator. UNBIASED REVIEW.

This podcast is such a soothing (and often funny) refuge that I find myself craving.

Just found this podcast and the host for the first time. I haven’t experienced much direct loss in life thus far but I love the conversations. The host is very endearing and empathetic but infuses heavy topics with a lightness that I appreciate. New subscriber!

I love how the nature of these conversations bring out such humanizing elements in celebrities we can forget have the same insecurities, pain, and struggles as “the rest of us.” It’s a remarkable thing that MCK has used his own loss and ongoing processing to give us some hope, some light, and...Read full review »

As someone that’s endured an incredible loss, this podcast encapsulates the sadness, humor and randomness that comes with it. Cruz-Kayne’s candor and gift for conversation is like hearing the friend who is there to listen and chat through it all. Bravo!!

This is a beautiful, insightful, deeply honest and compassionate podcast. Having experienced a wealth of inherited trauma, it’s refreshing to hear such open conversations about what we all experience yet don’t have the space to feel safe talking about. I hope this podcast continues and offers...Read full review »

Listened to the trailer and first episode and somehow it is funny and sad and heartwarming all at the same time. I’ve never heard people talking about grief before in a public forum and it really is a shame because we need a place to hear about it. More please!

Who knew talking about grief could be so uplifting?! So many people go through life carrying the weight of grief alone. It's so refreshing to hear such thoughtful conversations about such a universal experience. This podcast is a gift to us all. It's a good cry AND a good laugh. I needed...Read full review »

This podcast is spot on about grief & how it plays out in our lives. Raw, real & bluntly funny. I listened with my partner on the night we had experienced a sense of loss with our child. It helped us both reflect, connect, & laugh our way to a more peaceful moment. We are eager to...Read full review »
