Thinking person’s podcast
I can’t get enough of this podcast. I’m glad I discovered it a bit late, because I have a back library of more than 130 episodes to catch up on — and I listen at least three times a week. I think I’m fairly knowledgeable about rock history — but I’ve got nothing on Andrew Hickey. He teaches me a lot in every episode. If you want to really understand the heritage of the music you love, give this podcast a listen!

This podcast was my favourite discovery of 2020 - an engaging history that’s introduced me to so many great artists. The host also does a great job of situating familiar songs in their context, and tracing often unexpected links and connections between musicians.
