I’m glad I found this podcast. There aren’t many English language ones about pre-Colombian American history that I’ve been able to find. Nick is well informed and passes his knowledge over in the podcast entertainingly. Thank you for your time, research and effort during the many hectic years...Read full review »

This is the podcast I’ve been looking for. Coming from Peru, it’s sad to find there are almost no podcasts that engage with the ancient history of the Andes deeply enough. This extremely informative and concise podcast fills this gap.

I’m Peruvian and while I was taught a lot of this during high school it wasn’t nearly as to rough and well explained like it is here. I am only on the first 5 chapters but I love it.

This is one of my favorite podcasts I have discovered this year. It really helped to fill the void for introducing me into a subject that I did not know where to begin with and the host does a great job at contextualizing in bite sized episodes typically between 15-25 minutes.

I am finding this story fascinating. This is a topic I know very little about...well nothing really before the arrival of Pizarro. It is about time I heard some background and perhaps pick up a good read. The podcast is easy and clear to which to listen. Well produced as well. I am not finding...Read full review »

I just finished the Choquequirao-Machu Picchu through hike and am absolutely hooked on Incan history and this pod. I really appreciate the work you are putting in to remember such an innovative and brilliant civilization. I can’t wait for more episodes!

This one of the great examples of why amateur podcasting is still great. The author has a deep interest, he’s willing to put in long hours and work, and he creates a podcast well worth a listen.
