Wonderful history

One suggestion- I'd like to know more about topics such as the roles of women in society, what life was like for merchants, farmers, and outcasts in Japan during the different periods, and how aesthetics in Japan developed. However, these are quibbles. Let's put it this way- after the earthquake, All i could think of, other than how affected the Japanese were, was if Mr. Foster was safe. He is a treasure. He, like Rob Cain (Ancient Rome Revisited) and Mike Duncan (History of Rome) are my fantasy smart boyfriends.
