Photographers on Photography
Lots of podcasts on gear are out there, but if you're proficient with the tools of the trade and are curious as to what some the worlds best photographers are doing, what they think, their experience and their lives as photographers then this is one of a save few podcasts out there of worth and value. Ben Smith is himself a working photographer and the fact that he uses the title “A Small Voice” is a tip of the hat to W Eugene Smith, one the finest photojournalists that ever held a camera in his hands. That Ben chose this as his working title indicates the deep roots Ben holds in photography, especially documentary photography and photojournalism. Having said that Ben Smith is thoughtful and engaging with photographers of every discipline. I began by suggesting that if you are a photographer then you’ll enjoy this podcast, and you will.
