“This is an extremely interesting and engaging podcast for anyone interested in language. The hosts do a great job of balancing technical knowledge and jargon with clear explanations that anyone can understand. Their exploration of each topic is generally quite deep, and I leave each podcast feeling satisfied with what I have learned. Because I have a background in language and linguistics, I was initally worried that the discussion would be "dumbed down," but I didn't find that to be the case. The hosts speak at a very high level without overusing technical terms or getting caught up in linguistic theory. You also get a real sense of the personality of both hosts--after a while, you find yourself knowing ahead of time how each of them will likely respond to a question or statement. Definitely give this podcast a listen--you won't be disappointed!”Read full review »
