The podcast’s host and their guests discuss political philosophy from a left-wing — often Marxist — perspective. Topics are interesting, however the conversations can be a bit dry. The discussion presumes you have some basic understanding of Marxist terminology. Personally I think the episodes...Read full review »

This is one of the most optimistic podcasts to spring from the left since the last general election.

There is good information to be found here, but it’s hidden underneath an intolerable amount of “um” “like” “kind of” “sort of like” and, of course, repetitive raised inflection.

These short episodes manage to provide clear, concise and very accessible analysis of the biggest and most urgent challenges our world faces today. Must listen !

I really appreciate both Grace Blakeley’s skill as an interviewer and the highly credible guests she has. The quality of the discussions means that I always finish a podcast feeling better informed. I would recommend A World to Win to anyone who has a genuine interest in political debate. Thanks...Read full review »

Blakely leaves her mic open during interviews so the speaker is constantly interrupted by her ums and ahs. Gave up.

I enjoy this podcast a lot. Thank you Grace and everyone working behind the scenes.

Got to this via Bad Faith Podcast when they had Grace as a guest. I’d heard of her vaguely but after listening to her I signed up to a World to Win - and have not been disappointed. Grace has a great style as an interviewer - really letting her guests speak but asking questions that promote...Read full review »

Each episode of “A World to Win“ plays like an action item for a socialist future. Grace invites an excellent selection of guests on to speak about not only policy but organizational strategy. While we might not be able to podcast ourselves to socialism, having accessible resources like this...Read full review »

Getting decent left of centre analysis is hard to come by in these times, but this one ticks all the boxes and Grace Blakeley gets in depth discussions going, allowing her guests time to articulate arguement sand analysis -> unlike most mainstream soundbite and celeb interviewer driven programmes

I love this podcast for shining a light on the ongoing political and economic struggles in the Global South. I especially loved the Rob Davies interview - more like this, please! Thank you Grace and team for such inspiring and educational content. Five stars!

Tuned in expecting ‘On The Buses’ chat but instead appears to be some kind of new era socialist podcast, which sounds a little disturbing but is actually incredibly moreish! Like Hob Nobs... or Crack.

Obviously it goes without saying that the calibre of guest is great and that the knowledge and wisdom present is huge too, but I want to specifically call out Grace’s excellent leadership and ability to add insight on top of the guest (despite their expertise) in addition to asking extremely...Read full review »

Simply superb podcast. If only the mainstream media were as serious as this about bringing truth to the people then the world would be a better place.

Thought provoking, insightful & well informed. It’s a joy to get past the shallow personality politics so beloved of the mainstream media and actually hear ideas debated in depth. I whole heartedly recommend

As a dual citizen of the UK & US, it’s been a pleasure to listen to Grace’s intelligent and insightful voice in this transatlantic podcast coming from a society where, unlike the US, socialism has been a normal part of the conversation since the post war Attlee administration. Thank you!

We’re two episodes in and the standard has been excellent. I was unsure about the global nature of the content as I tend to be more interested in UK politics but the episode on Ecuador was superb with lots to learn and apply to global left activism. Really looking forward to hearing more.

Grace gets a cracking interview from Jezza. Corbyn comes across as quietly passionate as ever, and I learnt a lot about his formative political years. To hear from the man himself what his family went though with the abuse from the press was upsetting, but overall inspiring stuff.

Grace Blakeley has been on my radar for a while, I first saw her on Frankie Boyle’s show, then read her book Stolen. She’s an important voice on the left and this podcast provides important listening to those wanting change!
