From someone who hasn’t heard of the “Muses” podcast
It’s the false advertising for me. This is called “About A Girl” but we learn very little about these women outside of the context of their significant other’s careers. Not even a birthdate or a hometown. The content of these episodes won’t be new to anyone who hasn’t watched a documentary about the musicians themselves. 75% of it is detailing career moves and about 25% talks about how the women felt about what the men were doing. It’s possible these women are just two bad examples and weak subjects to start with, and if that’s the case I’ll gladly change my rating. I’m just not impressed.

More reviews of About A Girl
I love Eleanor’s writing and learning more about the women behind these artists. Great sound design too!

Just like Disgraceland, this podcast is sensational. The narrator does a terrific job.

Meh
Topic is great, but the host’s voice is borderline unlistenable with zero inflection or personality. Hopefully she gets better as she gets more experience.
