About a Girl..about time!
Recognizing the women behind named artists is long overdue. Much credit for such an endeavor and undertaking is to be extended to such a talented young film maker and this show’s narrator, Eleanor.... and although the subject may be familiar to some the scripted format is unlike anything else on the topic you may hear in podcasts today. I recommend listening to this series without reservation.

I just discovered this podcast and listened to the Dusty Springfield episode. It was so good it almost made me cry. If you love music and the people who make it, you will love hearing the stories of the women behind the scenes. Now I’m off to binge the rest of the episodes…

I am a podcast junkie and I really enjoy the story telling. I love the format, the content, the voice is calming and warm, and the lisp is so charming.

I love this approach to the “women behind the men in music” topic. The scripted narrative keeps the focus on the women’s stories, not the speculation that so often comes from the interview format typically used for this subject.
