Description
David Sloan Wilson, a leading voice in the application of evolutionary science to all things psychosocial is our guest on the ACT in Context Podcast. We discuss evolutionary science as it can be applied to real world contexts, such as policy and group interventions. This is an important development, "Evolution for Everyone" David's 2007 book helps us understand how evolution science is relevant in social environments for how humans live today, especially for how different we are and how prosocial or antisocial we are in family, school, religion, and extra curricular activities. In David's latest book "This View of Life" we explore flexible rigidity and other evolutionary constructs that map onto behavioral science principles to help us understand how to intervene in problems of human suffering. The ACT in Context Podcast is co-hosted by Timothy Gordon & Joanne Steinwachs.   Curious to learn more about ACT?
