“I just discovered this podcast while searching for “Wang Many” and so started at the very beginning. It’s a wonderful way to trip through time.
Ever click on a year entry in Wikipedia and keep clicking next - next - next watching the years flow by?
The two are good conversationalists and good researchers. “The past is a foreign country” - they have a philosophy of not judging too harshly the strangeness of previous cultures.
It is going to take a very long time, but it’s going to be a crazy experience to hear them flow from the Roman Empire (and plenty of other continent’s civilizations and people) to the modern world.”
