41. How Anger Can Help Us
Listen now
Description
Anger is not an emotion that many people feel comfortable experiencing.  We're not surrounded with many examples of healthy, assertive anger, so it's understandable that we fear that the emotion of anger will result in our losing control. Anger may have a reputation of being destructive, but when managed well, anger can actually serve a purpose in our lives! Since anger is a protective emotion,  it lets us know when a boundary has been crossed. Anger is also an emotion that helps us take action and make important changes in our lives. When we slow down and listen to the message that our anger carries, it can help us set and maintain our boundaries as well as protect ourselves and others.  Listen to today's podcast episode to learn how slowing down and listening to your anger can help you leverage this emotion to help you!
