Find your people
Adventures in Design is a great podcast -- super informative, deeply knowledgeable, filled with emotional stories of real people, and totally hilarious. You get to know the returning "characters" and feel like you're just hanging out, but hanging out getting great conversations and reveling in their successes, and filled with empathy for their setbacks. It's really THE podcast for working class creatives -- people who don't think they're doing some mystic magic, but are instead there in the trenches with their clients, building something better for everyone. It's rad finding my tribe -- other people that think in very similar ways to me, and nerd out about the same things I love. And just as important, the community of working class designers that has sprung up around the show -- we're not just listeners; we feel like we're part of a group. In the same way that there's a network of punk bands across the country, connected by touring, we have a network of creatives and weirdoes around the world that is being connected by AID. And we're befriending each other through the Slack channel, social media, and meeting up in person when we travel. I consider these folks real friends. Come join the circle.Read full review »

At times, it may be hard for them to stay on topic but it's fun being a fly on the wall, especially in segments like Shop-Talk. The...Read full review »

A great podcast with two down to earth guys who know their things but also know how to laugh and muck around. Good lengths at an hour and a half or so each, full of in depth interviews with other designers that are also insightful and fun, and other banter to give you a chuckle here and there....Read full review »
