Good period piece. Soothing old time radio and NOT overdone with the melodrama. Nome of the constant, sudden and LOUD music to denote content. There is actual content. Plots roll along in a really satisfying manner and any more plays of the golden era will be sought out avidly in this cottage.

The whole point of listening to these is that its OLD TIME RADIO. its an old recording of the shows of course the quality is poor and you are gonna get the commercials.. it was part of the show then and they are part of our TV shows now. either put up or shut up and dont listen. its not about how...Read full review »

Yes some of the cop;ies they have are of poor quality but it is worth it to put up with the occasional glitch. If you love a good story listen to this one. It makes a great comapnion for comutes and for crafting.

i thought this would be one of those gunfighting kind of show but actually its more like sherlock holmes it is really good i fully recommend you guys to listen to it and subcribe.

The stories are good, and they put in the original advert breaks which is interesting, but the sound is pretty bad and the dialog isn't alway clear or has an echo to it. But overall this is an OK podcast.
