Smart Ideas In a Fun Package
TL;DR - The show is entertaining, intelligent, and informative. You’ve got to entertain an audience or they’ll go elsewhere; that leads many podcasters to create a show that feels contrived, which makes for an uncomfortable listening experience. This show stands in marked contrast to that model, pairing two friends who happen to be smart about money - and not always in agreement. Listeners feel as if they're eavesdropping and realize only once it’s done that they’re walking away with intelligent guidance to apply in their own lives. The production values are high enough that the listener doesn’t need to work to get over the difficulties inherent in so many other shows, yet not hyper-produced. You know the hosts care about what they’re doing, but they’re not in it as a vanity project for audio engineering.Read full review »
