This podcast will make you look forward to commercials.
You may hate them, but commercials shape our world. And perhaps no one appreciates this more than Andrew Walsh and Genevieve Haas, the quick-witted, charming, insightful co-hosts of the show experts are calling "The best podcast about television commercials ever made" (or your money back). All joking aside, this weekly show is an hour of pure delight. Each episode revolves around a theme, and Andrew and Genevieve cull a representative list of commercials around that theme, then present incisive commentary of each - sometimes celebratory, sometimes scathing, but always perfectly captivating. Their guests are often industry experts and always fascinating, and their rapidly growing listener base joins the discussion with emails, v-mails and a constant flow of Facebook commentary. Over the past year, I've relived some of my favorite and most cringe-worthy TV experiences from childhood to present-day, and hearing these commercials retold through the voices of a couple whom I've grown to consider close friends rings the perfect nostalgic bell in my analog-raised soul. Give the show a listen, but beware: once you pop, you can't stop.Read full review »

Genevieve and Andrew bring a lot of fun observations to this Podcast on Ads New and Old. They have a call in line and regularly play our remembrances of jingles for the listeners.

I listen to podcasts while doing chores and I have to be careful when I’m listening to After These Messages because there is a definite risk of laughing out loud in the supermarket aisle!
