Review of Agency Nation Radio - Good info, but slightly

Good info, but slightly condescending

“The info shared by Ryan and Marty is helpful for agents (and actually carriers) of any kind (captive, independent) even though the target audience is IAs. I appreciate the relevance of the content shared - they clearly care and stay up-to-date. Having said that, some of what’s communicated (mostly by Ryan) comes across as condescending and feels a little more like talk-show radio than a podcast. Ryan is often saying “okay, i’ll step down from my soapbox” or “and I know this isn’t our listeners, but….” or just saying things with a frustrated tone. I get it - a lot of what’s being discussed is meant to provoke IAs and spur them to “adapt or die." But at the same time, some of the info comes across as banter and could make you walk away feeling, “I stink."”Read full review »

The film reel is awful to listen to

“I like the podcast but have to fast forward through some of the best parts because the film reel sound is tough to listen to in my AirPods. Would be nice to remove that and then I would continue to tune in. Anyone else feeling that way?”
