I liked this podcast from the get go, but the first season felt a lot like a book promotion preview session. Season 2 takes the insightful conversations and puts more meaning behind them while leaving out the part that made it feel like a capitalist money grab. This most recent episode with...Read full review »

This podcast is liken to the oxygen that you need in order to live. If you don’t understand the importance of this podcast based on the sentence above; then I don’t know what else to say. 😂

I would recommend Airplane Mode to listeners that want a podcast focused on mental health and well-being in an informal, less “preachy” manner. Clay Skipper acts as a serviceable host, but I feel he has an opportunity to establish himself as the voice of the podcast. I highly recommend the BJ...Read full review »

I’m a 23 year old man, and this isn’t necessarily what I expected from GQ, but oddly in a good way. Nothing really relating closely to fashion or entertainment. All the content so far is very relevant, thought provoking and feels like I’m having some deep or interesting talks with a few of my...Read full review »

Really wish that you guys interviewed more females. It’s disheartening that only 2 out of the 10 episodes interview a female guest.

Keep this going!

I grew up with Clay, and to be honest, I just checked this out to be a good friend. But this podcast is awesome. I’ve listened to just two episodes so far (A$AP Ferg & Annie Duke), and I loved both. The discussions and subject matter are compelling and interesting. Clay asks great questions...Read full review »

I’ve been a huge fan of GQ’s podcasts. Longtime listener of Corporate Lunch. However, this podcast completely misses the mark and leaves me questioning GQ’s leadership and strategic thinking. I can’t help but think that this is strongly correlated to Jim Nelson’s departure and shows how desperate...Read full review »

was excited to listen based on some of the guests but unfortunately this doesnt cut it. with a podcast like this, you need a host capable of engaging in thoughtful dialogue, not someone who is just going to ask pre-planned questions. find a better host and this could be good but this is mediocre...Read full review »

Come on fellas, lacks original content. Just the same self-help content found in other shows. Only difference is the hosts here are complete amateurs. The damanged caused by this show is EARreversable. It's worse than I fEARed and simply brought me to tEARs.Read full review »

I am a fan of Clay’s and saw on social media that he’d have a podcast branching off of his Level Up pieces, which made me really excited to listen. I’m so glad to have these insightful and informative interviews. I’ve learned a lot in each episode and plan to incorporate the advice into my life....Read full review »

The creators of this should respect their listeners time and not produce such rubbish. Expected more from GQ.

Airplane Mode is a great extension of GQ’s Level Up subsite, which I have found to be a reliable source for useful, illuminating, and life affirming/challenging reads/interviews. Clag Skipper does a good job selecting a variety of guests and having down-to-earth, yet engaging and deep...Read full review »

Big fan so far of this new podcast from GQ. Clay’s fun, and every time i listen I learn something new and useful that makes me think a little bit about how I live my life. Also love that the episodes aren’t crazy long!

This is a very good podcast. The guests are interesting people (most of whom I didn’t know about before) and have a lot of useful insights to share. Clay is a great interviewer...he is prepared, has interesting questions, goes with the flow of the conversation, and draws the guests into great...Read full review »

Just listened to the first podcast and it was awesome. The only issue is that either he’s speaking very fast or there’s an issue with the recording. Please fix this.
