What a beautiful piece of work. These stories made me feel everything - fascinated, wondrous, melancholy, and then I was laughing again. Thank you Alice Frazer for a really gorgeous trilogy.

Alice made my eyes wet with laughter and love. I found myself in an emotional rollercoaster pondering the facts of the human condition with all it‘s contradictions spread across a blanket of unconditional love for live. BRAVO!!!!

So achingly beautiful. This oh so cleverly crafted piece of work by Alice Fraser will make you reach deep down into your mind; and it will break your heart; and you will also laugh. Listen to as much of Alice’s work as you can. Her star is rising! She is one talent we must nurture. Beautiful...Read full review »

If you're interested in exploring the line between comedy and tragedy, Alice's Trilogy is for you. I was alternately crying with laughter, deep in thought, and sitting with mouth agape at the atrocities some people have endured. I adore Alice, and this is a monumental work. She also sings...Read full review »

So beautiful, so funny, so heartbreakingly real, sad and incredibly smart. This podcast series brought me such joy - the joy of laughter & the joy of identification with the human condition (the sad stuff & the beauty!) ❤️ Thank you!!!!

Thank you for this wonderful series/show. Thoughtful, hilarious, personal. The first episode dropped me to my knees it was so sad. Luckily I was weeding at the time and my client could not see me weeping quietly. I look forward to more of your work in The future!

Much more than comedy. Worth listening to very carefully, especially the post trilogy conversations.

Alice Fraser deserves so many awards for these stand-up shows. They are philosophical, beautiful, full of characters, with a diverse range of emotions. On top of that the production quality superb. A truly special trilogy and a great medium to share them. I hope to listen to more in the future.

Or rather 1/6 of the most amazing / endearing things... Alice has been a familiar voice to me over the years listening to The Bugle or randomly seeing funny comedy clips or TedX appearances (It makes SO MUCH MORE SENSE why that starts the way it does... you are a champ, Alice) and having...Read full review »

Beautiful work from Alice Fraser. Terribly heart wrenching and funny in alternate moments. I’m going to listen from the start again and hopefully she has a comedy festival show this year for me to go to. And the other reviewer is right, the guy with the amazing laugh in the audience is sooo funny!

Loved this! Was recommended by a friend and couldn’t stop listening - did the whole trilogy plus bonus interviews in one day. Alice mixes warmth and poignancy with lightness and belly busting humour! Witty, dry and spot on observations to boot. A real delight of a podcast *thumbs up*

Thank you, Alice. Your show made me laugh, and contemplate, and cry – nearly choked with tears at lunch (poor Mrs Sergei). Your mum and grandmum sound like amazing people and must be so honoured to have such an intelligent, funny, brave and graceful offspring. p.s. I wrote this before having...Read full review »

I've been a fan of The Bugle for quite awhile, and I've always enjoyed Ms. Fraser's wittiness and charm as a frequent guest on that show. But this... this podcast, is simply amazing. I wasn't expecting anything but comedy, but she has written a very moving piece of art that nearly...Read full review »

If you’re ready for some comedy, and you’re equally ready for something that is not comedy - but something that speaks to truth, the heart, and the soul, and the infinite, then the Alice Fraser trilogy is exactly for you. Oh, and there’s banjo!!! Thanks Alice 😊

After surviving the amazing but gruelling Nanette, I’ve got a taste for comedy with deep human insight, or is it the other way around. Alice is amazing. Enjoy.

When people say that thing “you made me question everything in my life”... well you won’t exactly do that listening to this performance. You will question everything in your life and you will find yourself staring at your reflection that is latched to all the things you’ve done (and not done)...Read full review »

Alice Fraser presents consumate storytelling. Mixing tears of laughter with tears of pathos. Each show delivers the rollercoaster of feelings that makes sense of the 2 act format (it can be emotionally intense)

Having truly enjoyed your every appearance on “The Bugle” podcast, I was eager to hear this, despite the “warnings.” Thank you for sharing these stories! I laughed when it was comedy and I thought deeply about those parts that weren’t as funny, but that touched the heart. Well done!!
